Choosing a GPS app for iPhone
Had to pick an app for my iPhone. The choices were TomTom, Sygic and Navigon. As all three have had an update recently none of the current reviews were much help. Since TomTom didn’t have Text to Speech I decided to get Sygic. Well, initial impressions are very good. [update: TomTom's current release now has TTS according to some reviews on Whirlpool] I also got the TomTom car kit and the two work together flawlessly. It’s the best GPS I’ve had in a car. Better than the OEM ones on BMWs.
