Dymo’s latest software for the Mac is version 8.3.1 and it doesn’t support the LabelWriter 330. Don’t despair if you have one of these printers as the previous version 8.3.0 is working fine for me. You can download it here.

Le Clairvaux 7 – Aspen Condo review

Stay tuned for a review of the condo we rented in Aspen. The preview is that it was in a convenient location, across the road from the City Market and three blocks away from the Silver Queen gondola. No 7 is a condo on the first floor (second floor if you’re from the US) and has a great view of Aspen Mountain from the verandah. Here’s the view:

A week of tennis

Just finished 7 days of shooting the 2012 Australian Open. What a great way to overcome jet lag. The first two nights were pretty tough especially around 9pm, and then as the body clock adjusted the full days started getting pretty late. The men’s final at almost 6 hours meant finally getting to bed around 4am. Still, it was a bit of tennis history. Photos are here. Here are a couple photos that have already been published:

After Jake and Guy raved about their meal at Matsuhisa we had to check it out. They were right. Excellent new-style Japanese food from a restaurant in the Nobu family of restaurants. One of our salads was the Spinach, dried miso and shrimp:

Ribs and ice cream

A quintessentially American dinner of take away ribs and chicken wings from Hickory House Ribs followed by ice cream of an unusual, but delicious, flavour.

Everyone wants to ski on fresh snow

With 8 inches of fresh snow everyone wanted to make fresh tracks. The Silver Queen gondola opens at 9am and the queue started around 8am. By 8.50am there was about 200 people in the queue, winding its way around the corner:

The snow finally came

There hasn’t been a snow fall for weeks and the locals were saying that it’s been the driest winter they can remember. So it was a relief when 8 inches dropped from the heavens on Saturday:
