A week goes fast. So today, we packed our bags and left Paris for Lyon for the weekend.
We had almost two hours to kill at Gare du Lyon so it was lucky there is a beautiful bar/restaurant there called Le Train Bleu. It’s a lovely example of architecture from the Belle Epoch and a great find if you want to experience the history of Paris in the 1900s:
After a comfortable 2 hour train ride and checking in we strolled down to the Les Halles du Lyon food hall. Here’s a snapshot – and more tomorrow:
We celebrated Mia’s 13th birthday at Brasserie Georges, a Lyon brasserie:
