A couple of images from Arizona shot in 2011 of the Secret Canyon. When these were taken, Adobe Lightroom was using the “2010” RAW converter. With the current version of Lightroom, the converter has been updated to “2012”. And Photomatix has had another 2 years of enhancements. The first image is a 3-shot bracket that’s been converted in Photomatix into a HDR and then imported back into LR for further tweaking. The second and third photo is processed with LR’s new RAW processor. I can see real improvements compared to the 2010 converter. This is why it’s good to shoot in RAW. Software enhancements will bring improvements! If you’re after an excellent HDR tutorial check out this one by SLR Lounge.
