Tennis and rain doesn’t mix
Many sports are not affected by rain. Soccer, Australian Rules Football to name two. But tennis is. No play for a whole day and then the sun came out. Shooting from a high angle makes a clean background but you need lots of patience if the player is a baseliner. There’s usually one chance for a burst in every game. Not very exciting shooting.
The tennis season has started
Day 1 of the AAMI Classic. And then onto the Australian Open next week. Rain interrupted play but here are my first shots of tennis I’ve ever shot:
A-League Round 22
After the coffee competition it was back to AAMI Park for Round 22 of the A-League. At last it was a cloudy day so shooting conditions were a lot better than that last few rounds. Images here.
